Colin Farrell is an Irish born actor known for numerous remakes including the S.W.A.T. remake, Miami Vice remake, and Total Recall remake.
He plays the lead role Jerry Dandrige in the 2011 remake of Fright Night. He said of his decision to take the role, "I said [to his agent] I’d love for us to find something that was possibly more comedic or something that gave me an opportunity to be more expansive.” (Source )
