Dr. Scott Harrison was Charley Brewster's psychologist. Dr. Harrison manged to convice Charley that Jerry Dandrige was merely a serial killer, rather than a vampire.
At some point, when he is turned into a vampire and is used to get Alex, he ends up partially staked by her and humorously complains about the pain before falling on to the stake which drives it all the way through his heart.
